Role Summary

Royal Priesthood Pentecostal Church (UK) is seeking a skilled Church Media and Technical Coordinator to lead and support the technical delivery of worship services, livestreams, media production and church events. This role combines sound, video, livestreaming, presentation systems, equipment care and volunteer coordination.

The successful candidate will help ensure that in-person and online worship services are delivered with clarity, excellence and professionalism. This includes managing audio systems, livestream workflows, cameras, projection, service slides, media files, technical volunteers and troubleshooting during live services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sound, livestream, camera, projection and media support for Sunday services, prayer meetings, conferences and special events.
  • Operate and oversee audio mixers, microphones, speakers, monitors and related sound equipment.
  • Support video recording, livestream broadcasting and sermon/media distribution.
  • Manage worship presentation software such as EasyWorship, ProPresenter or similar platforms.
  • Support camera operators, sound volunteers and media team members during live services.
  • Maintain media files, sermon recordings, graphics, service media and digital assets.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly during live services and events.
  • Liaise with pastors, worship leaders and ministry teams to prepare technical requirements.
  • Maintain, test and organise church technical equipment.
  • Train volunteers in sound, media, camera, projection and livestream basics.
  • Ensure cables, stands, equipment and stage areas are used safely and kept organised.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in church media, sound engineering, livestreaming, AV production or live event support.
  • Good working knowledge of mixers, microphones, speakers, monitors, cameras and livestream systems.
  • Familiarity with platforms or tools such as OBS, Zoom, YouTube Live, Blackmagic ATEM, EasyWorship, ProPresenter, Logic Pro or similar.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure during live services.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work Sundays, evenings and special church events.
  • Ability to train and encourage volunteers.
  • Respect for the worship environment and sensitivity to church service flow.
